Jason Karim-Baker

Jason Karim-Baker, MA serves as a Senior Associate Ombuds in the UC Davis Ombuds Office with a focus on UC Davis Health. Jason is a Certified Organizational Ombuds Practitioner and holds a Master's Degree in the History and Philosophy of Science and Medicine from the University of Pittsburgh. Jason has extensive experience managing conflict in academic healthcare settings. Prior to joining UC Davis in 2023, Jason served as the Lead Associate Ombuds at the National Institutes of Health for six years and, before that, managed the Bioethics Mediation service at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center from 2010 to 2017.
